\u00abOn April 29, 2024, French watchmaking welcomed a new ambitious player with the launch of the ALTO brand, created by Thibaud Guittard. This art and design enthusiast drew from his background and diverse influences to create a unique watch. He is inspired by 1970s concept cars, the films of Christopher Nolan, and the works of visionaries like Giorgetto Giugiaro and Luca Bassani. His fascination with Olafur Eliasson, the musical world of Daft Punk, and his taste for innovative design led to the development of an intuition that became an obvious choice.<\/p>

ALTO unveils the ART 01, a creation with sharp angles and a radical design, where the second hand seems to reverse time. Thibaud Guittard aimed to create a watch that blends aesthetics, watchmaking expertise, and boldness.<\/p>

To bring this project to life, he surrounded himself with creative personalities who helped shape the brand's identity, particularly photographer and director Mathieu C\u00e9sar and designer Yorgo Tloupas.<\/p>

Among the guests: Thomas Bangalter, Pedro Winter, Xavier de Rosnay, Ivan Striga, Thomas Roussel, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Sans, Martin Solveig, and L\u00e9o Walk.<\/p>
